I'm a pasty blob-monster with cool hair, so here are some pictures of my critters:

My beautiful and long-suffering horse, Sharif. He's my polar bear princess.

My hounds from HELL, Jig, Sokka and Pippin. Don't be deceived by their cuteness.

My cat, Maxwell, in his natural habitat. He's a sweet, needy little cuddlemonster, but he's also a born troublemaker.

Introducing Baron Reginald von Fluffytrousers III. He is a sentient fluffnugget and the Lord of the Laundry.

Chi (seen also in my icon) likes to take the time to contemplate her toys every now and then. If you gently scratch her back, she'll lick and nibble your arm.

Omgggg give me all your kittiesssss. Also I went horseback riding for the first time on vacation last month, and it was a lot less scary and a lot more fun than I expected.

I am terrified of horses but that picture just defrosted my heart a little. Baron looks like the cuddliest thing in the world and looks like the Maine Coon we had when I was little.

Sharif's a harmless ol' lovebug, and he puts up with so much shit from me. I even dress him up on Halloween. Didn't get to this year 'cause of the whole situation with my mom, but I'm thinking of dressing him up belatedly. As what? As Rarity! I just need to get some non-toxic paint for the cutie mark and find a way to mount the horn to his bridle.

Baron can definitely be very snuggly, but it has to be on his terms, and you don't have a say in the matter. He definitely has Maine Coon features, except that he's TINY, an he just showed up one day and decided to stick around, so we have no idea what breed he actually is.

Aww, he looks like such a darling. I've been thinking of getting riding lessons to get me over my weird phobia, I don't even know where it came from. He looks so beautiful though, and it sounds like he has a lovely owner.

Haha, sounds like our cat Jubei, when he's in the mood for cuddles you can basically pick him up and rearrange him in his sleep and he won't stir, but if he's not in the mood he'll stick his nose in the air and march right out. He looks gorgeous, though. Cats with Maine Coon genes are so photogenic.

Aw, shucks! Well, I've had Sharif since I was twelve and he was five, and almost twenty years later I still wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. ♥ He's a light in the darkness and I'm so lucky to have him in my life.

Riding lessons might be a great way to overcome your phobia of horses, especially since school horses tend to be especially calm and easygoing, albeit incredibly lazy. Your calf game will be on point after a few months trying to get one of those fuckers to move. I should warn you that you may develop a phobia of equestrians instead of horses, though, because we are all a bunch of fucking whackadoos. Every single one of us. And we're every bit as wanky as any fandom, believe you me.

Baron will just randomly hop up into your lap and refuse to budge even if you try to make him. He's got such a lovely pigeon-purr, though, so that makes up for any inconvenience.
