True! But they don't have that same aesthetic or feeling somehow. The websites I remember were mainly fond to me because they tended to post every single thing they could find about something. Every tiny magazine cutout, every promotional image, etc. Of course I'm talking about a time before twitter and facebook were around even, so it was quite hard to come about information on fandom things back then! One click and I had it, now you have to search sites like tumblr, not sure if you'll even find it, and having to filter through lots of irrelevant things.

It's a pure nostalgia thing though.
