That's fair, but can you really describe it as "rich privilege" in that case?

Colleen is wrong, obviously, but she's coming at it from a different place IMO. It doesn't have to be a question of privilege.

/shrug The secret described what she said as sounding like rich privelege, not that OP thought rich privelege applied to Colleen. It's a significant distinction, IMO.

While "rich privilege" seems like the wrong term, I think "financial privilege" would be entirely appropriate.

I haven't seen the show, but what I'm getting from the secret is: Darryl has serious financial responsibilities, and next to no money. He's not in a position where he can reasonably choose to prioritize some subjective morals over a practical way of making money. He either makes the money, or he and the people he loves will be destitute. Colleen, meanwhile, may not be rich, but she obviously has no concept of what it's like to truly need money you don't have, or she wouldn't say something so stupidly judgmental.

If I've got the situation wrong, my apologies. I'm just going off of what I'm parsing from the secret and these comments.
