That's what I thought. Sure, they have a ranch and thus a ton of land. But this cat does not want to be outdoors. As soon as our group arrived, she followed us everywhere (actually, she followed me everywhere, we had an instant connection, I'm not sure I've ever fallen so hard in love with an animal in such a short time). She's a people cat. She wants affection. She needs affection. And I don't understand how anyone would not want to give it to her. She's just the sweetest thing imaginable.

You can't keep her? Sounds like a match made in heaven. And to be honest - your mom needs to chill on her being out in the car. A bath is *more* stress, because cats really don't *like* baths. So maybe sit in the back with her on your lap and a towel if your mom is freaking about hair or something.

It's much kinder on the cat.

God, I want to keep her so bad. My mom isn't wavering, though, and even while she's here she's only allowed in my room or the porch. It is killing me. I need a job or at least an interview right now, in the next 48 hours.
