Re: Advice- cats

Give her a small place that's hers and hers alone, like a cat carrier, that she can come and go from as she pleases. Since she's bonded with you, put a shirt or something you've recently worn inside-- soothing scent, you know? And keep the carrier in a bedroom or something with a door so that she has privacy/feels secure.

I did put some of my clothes down. She hates the carrier. Really hates it. I have her in my room right now, and she's sleeping happily on my bed. Of course I can't get at my blankets because she's half on top of them. But hey, at least she's happy.

Oh, she's doing well, then! Whenever we've brought a cat into the house, they hide under the bed for a couple days until they get used to the place, but if she's out and happy, I'd say you're doing just fine. :) Give her lots and lots of snuggles.

She seems to need to be near people. She was more nervous earlier when she was on the porch and only perked up when I went out with her.

Aww, she sounds like a little lovebug. I really do hope you can keep her somehow. <3
