Oh fuck those assholes! Ugh. So many people are looking for a cuddly indoor lapcat, what the hell do they think yelling at her is going to do?

This might not be something that applies to you - but I once adopted a two year old cat. He was extremely shy. The second we got him home he hid, and ended up getting into the basement ceiling somehow. He wouldn't come near anyone. So what I ended up doing was sleeping in the basement, on a mattress on the floor, for a week. I had a shirt of mine near his food and water so he could get used to my scent. And we bonded. But... where you only have the cat for a couple of days, I don't know if that or anything like that will work :/
