Re: F/F Version of Dream Daddy

The female characters in the first game were well written and likable and I don't think it would be that hard to create interesting female characters. While it was a humorous game, it wasn't all about stereotypes and jokes. The parental relationships were heartwarming and the characters had depth. My (I'm not the OP) issue with Dream Daddy is that it was advertised as a romance game and some of the paths ended with "We decided we weren't ready for a real relationship" which... isn't what most people want out of these types of games, or at least I don't? Some people probably liked it. I'd be down for an f/f game like this (would like more dating sims that aren't set in a Japanese high school, thanks, and having it centered around characters in their 30s-40s is also a bonus) but I'd want to know ahead of time that I wasn't getting a happy ending. That was my only big disappointment with Dream Daddy.

I haven't played the game, so all the stuff I saw about it was how it was inspired by a group of people talking about dad jokes and dad steryotypes and dadsonas. Like it wasn't just meant to be a middle-aged dude dating game, but specifically playing around with and having fun with the whole dad stereotypes. I don't mind being wrong, but that's what I was going on
