Not OP and not a big kpop fan but while I wouldn't call many boybands super masc but they definitely do the bro thing where they 200% like sexy girls, have to be cool and masculine, and think being cute is for children. There's a certain offputting macho insecurity about that

Kpop has a "no homo!" problem which is just as big as boy bands do, but they don't have an issue with men being cute or pretty or graceful, which is not linked to being "gay"
