Not bad, was a short work day (4 hours), then I got sushi for lunch, came home and did laundry, and made a smog check appointment for my car for tomorrow (and I'm off tomorrow, woo hoo!)!

I was mostly miserable, and I applied for 7 jobs, and soon I'm going to go to trivia.

Good luck on the jobs. I am debating whether to apply for jobs out of my city or not right now. :O

Boring. I am calling the staffing agency tomorrow to see if they got around to looking at my assessment.

Alright. I slept in a fair bit. After singing up for work benefits of course. Did some art. went grocery shopping.

It's been pretty good :D

I've had a pretty good day in spite of the weather.

Eh. Had a phone interview. It was okay but I gave an answer I regret. Cried about it, now I'm drinking tea.

I'm having cramps from hell. <:(

Okay, except for the weather being so cold and wet. Also, monthly cramps. Though I'm lucky, mine aren't usually *too* bad. Got a lot of random errands done today. Currently trying to figure out where to hang my various pictures and posters, in my room in the place I moved into two months ago, and haven't had time to get to decorating the walls yet.

Wrapped up 16 hours at my least favorite job task. Looming deadlines on Friday that I've not been able to touch because of it.

It's going. I have phone calls to make and they're all stressful. I think I might make a start on my holiday cards too.

Okay, went to get my medication and groceries, had a long walk to and fro and now I'm tired and my back hurts.

Work was slow and annoying. This whole week is going to be slow. I have a really annoying resident and an attending who is super nice, but prefers to be absent. I am likely to have little to do, and I'm looking forward to various exciting things this weekend/next week, so I want it to be Friday already lol.

I scraped myself out of bed this morning to get my kid ready for school, then take him. Then had to head to the store even though I'm pretty sure I was a spirit just using a human body by way of strings this morning - I'm like 50% sure a whole extra block sprouted out of nowhere along my route to the store because it took far too long to get there. x.x

Then I came home to eat and crash back in bed until it was time to pick up my kid from school. Then went to the store(s) again. x.x And then had to help my kid with homework and guess who wanted to make my life hell today with homework??? I'm ready to just die and resurrect tomorrow. Sleep, I mean. Yeah, that's what I meant. x.x

I'm exhausted and I've been stressing all day about the cat. But I just got an email from my mother saying we'd talk about the cat when she gets home. And she wouldn't get my hopes up if there wasn't the chance we'd keep her, right? I don't think so. So now I'm happy and my hopes are way up. And I'm cuddling with kitty, so everything is good.

I do!!!!!! I had to sign a contract of things I agree to do (both cat-related and not), but I get to keep her. Her name is Joanna and she's the sweetest cat in the world.

Pretty okay, had brunch with my grandmother and a couple of my aunts. I'm liking the Tuesdays off schedule today, we'll see how I feel about it when I'm at work on Saturday. :p

Started my period, so I was right about the cause of my last few days epic pity party cryfest, which will hopefully be over shortly. Pulled some weeds, watered plants, have to call my supervisor’s supervisor tomorrow about a job interview for a job I probably won’t get until the next round of interviews, but I don’t want to seem uninterested in promoting, so I’m tossing my hat in the ring for this round, too. The vet called to check on my latest chicken saga, which was nice of her. Still hunting for a new home for my rooster. Wish it would rain.

I'm glad you were right about the root cause of the pity party. Hormones can suck, but at least it's temporary. Mine tend more towards seething rage than crying jags.

AYRT--oh, I get "Hulk smash!" hormone floods, too--there may or may not be a couple of holes that I punched and kicked into my walls during the worst of them. The worst I've ever had is when all the negative mental and physical shit hits during the few days run up to red tide: alternating runs and constipation, UTIs and yeast infections, migraines and cramps and nausea, horniness and hunger, loneliness and blinding rage at every person on earth, and crying. Just, holy shit, body, pick one, don't get greedy for misery.

mostly hung out around the house watching Blackadder and Father Ted and reading House fanfic on the computer during the daytime and went out to a cool restaurant/bar with some friends tonight.
