Sleep sounds so beautiful. I was up half the night with cat issues and then woke up at the crack of the dawn anyway.

She tore a hole in the porch screen, jumped the fence, and had herself a little adventure. It took a long time to find her, and then she kept wanting to go back out. She was unhappy at being kept inside, and she slipped by me and back into the yard every time I tried to bring in her things from the porch (that's where we keep her food and litter box right now).

We've taped it up this morning, so she's okay now. But it was a whole exhausting ordeal, I was terrified I'd lost her, and I did not get much sleep.

Definitely sounds like a stressful night! :( I hope she relaxes soon, it's heart breaking dealing with stressed pets when they don't want to be kept in. Wish there was some way to communicate to them that's it for their benefit. I had to keep one of mine inside overnight when he was due to be neutered and I felt so guilty.

I wish we could afford to get fencing that would keep her in our yard. I'd love her to be able to have the run of the yard. But she can easily jump over it, and things can get in easily.

I feel that. Sleep is important. I'm just watching Jeopardy and then I'm going to bed.
