The thing that comes to mind right now is making tapioca with tapioca flour instead of the ground up bits of tapioca (or tapioca pearls). It seemed like a good idea, but it kept getting thicker, and thicker, and THICKER and T H I C K E R. It was just a good that wasn't really edible at the end. Weird and very...intense texture.

Er, how did you pry it out of the pan? Or did you just toss the whole shebang in the trash?
