Re: Weekend Plans?
I'm working tomorrow then doing some research on Open University courses. I've requested a prospectus that should be here this week. I'm kind of at a crossroads where I feel I need to decide what I want to do as a career in the long run, but can't decide what. My brother has always had this laser-guided, precise "I want to do this so I'm going to do this" sort of thing and I feel like I'm floundering aimlessly. :(
Re: Weekend Plans?
Are there career options that you are choosing between or just not sure of anything yet?
Re: Weekend Plans?
At the moment I'm kind of torn between art/design/illustration and healthcare/nursing, which I guess couldn't be more different, lol. I'm a huge gaming fan so something in character design/enviromental concept art or something would be a dream, but I spent four years doing care work and find myself missing it a bit now. I spoke to the manager of the home I worked for and she basically flat out said that I would never make it as a nurse because it's a rough/cutthroat business and I wasn't assertive or thick-skinned enough for it. :(
