It's a very dark humor kind of show. Very dark. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but it's very much understood that the bad things the characters do are bad and that you're supposed to be pleased when their terrible actions blow up in their faces. The implication scene is imo a really important and valuable piece of television because it explains something that a lot of people refuse to acknowledge in very clear terms (there are a terrifying number of people out there who insist that sexual coercion which never moves into the realm of physical violence doesn't "count" as rape) and makes it extremely plain that it's reprehensible and does in fact "count." The show writers/stars all seem to be really nice people irl so the horrible shit their characters get up to is definitely not supposed to be sympathetic.

It is definitely a show about awful assholes.

It's funny, but it's clear that they're all dickbags.
