Yeah, I boggled when I saw that yesterday but I figured there was no point in engaging, because eesh. I mean, I would be massively disappointed if any of my tiny circle of still-living favorite actors turned out to be an abuser, but I wouldn't go spitting mad and rant about loyalty with steam coming out my ears. Hopefully it was just a bored troll, because otherwise I would hate to see how they reacted to issues in their real life.

I'd be disappointed but not surprised, to be honest. They have money, power, and yes-men around them, these big actors, I won't be shocked if they're too used to getting what they want which then bleeds into forcing their power onto other people in sexual or non sexual ways.

I really don't understand people who get so invested in celebrities. My mom's best friend is obsessed with Johnny Depp and refuses to believe any of the awful shit he apparently did. I mean, there are actors I like, but none where I'd go "lalala I can't hear you" when it turns out they're a domestic abuser or sexual predator or whatever. I just...don't get it.
