He tried to run over a bunch of middle-schoolers for shits and giggles. That's way past "lashing out," and the fact that he's a victim as well as an abuser doesn't give him a pass for the latter. Headcanon all the woobie!Billy you want, but at the end of the day what's portrayed on the screen is a sexually aggressive and violent young man who enjoys hurting children.

Yes yes.
*pat pat*

I'm not making him a woobie - i'm saying he's an abused person who is, yes, lashing out and who the fuck knows what damage has been done to him over the years. I never said he got a pass, so please tuck your self-righteousness away, it's boring.

Attempted murder isn't "lashing out" to anyone but sociopaths and the creepy internet fangirls who try to justify their behavior, but you already know that. If you didn't, you'd have skipped the *pat pat* bullshit. People with valid arguments, or who are fine with their headcanons and don't need strangers to justify them, don't need to play those silly games.

But, hell. It's just a TV show. If you want to insist that there's no negative stereotypes being perpetuated by making the character whose main storylines involve hunting down and attacking children and being aggressively, intimidatingly sexual a closeted gay man who's just "lashing out", then... sure. You do that.

In this day and age? No, it not a stereotype. Hell, that one in particular wasn't that big.

And read up on what abuse can do to a person, especially a stupid teenager.
