I also never really saw the appeal of Labyrinth.

I didn't find Pulp Fiction appealing as well, I agree. Most of Tarantino's stuff is like that to me.

I was going to say Labyrinth but I was a little afraid to. I love David Bowie, I like muppets, I still never want to sit through that movie again.

Labyrinth is WAY overrated.

I say this as a huge David Bowie fan AND as someone who's written Labyrinth fic - you're not wrong. I loved the movie as a kid, but as an adult there are issues and flaws. That said, I think most people love the movie very selectively. Some scenes are still neat to watch, it's quotable, the muppet work is cool, David Bowie's wearing tight pants and a crazy wig... it's hilarious, so long as you don't need to sit through the whole film.

Agreed. It's the kind of movie you have on in the background while you're doing other stuff, and then you stop and watch the parts you like and ignore the part with the fireys.

I have a very strong negative reaction to anything cringey and for me, A LOT of that movie has a major cringe factor.
