I'm glad he was happy, but I still just have an inherent dislike of her. I don't even know why, but I still wish she had never been introduced.

Which is why I'm saying, if she hadn't been, Simon would've died drowned in his own emo and the story would've ended on episode 10 or something.

Yeah, would have sucked if it ended early I guess. I tolerated her before the time jump but after alwkajdsk I really disliked her. I don't know, something about her just annoyed me.

101.- DB doesn't have inspirational speeches, does it? It's more of the "lots of yelling" type |D;;;

A-and N!S!5, I meant agreed on that I can't really see Simon shipped "seriously" with anyone but Nia. I don't think Simon/Nia was the whole point of the show ;;;

It wasn't the whole point of the show, but if you missed that you will probably miss everything about it. :/

101 - The inspirational speeches are some of my favorite parts. <3 There's definitely "lots of yelling," but there's a lot of inspiration too. You just have to watch the Japanese with subtitles instead of the dubs. :)

I watched the Latin American dub, which is pretty damned good. And read the manga ;D

Maybe it's just 'cause in GL you get an epic speech every two seconds? |D;;

not!secret #5: I can sorta agree? ffffff I dunno. I can argue for Simon being able to form relationships Nia, and learning to love again after her (he may have left the group after she died, but I've already sorta-semi-argued the opinion that doing so was almost as unhealthy as his reaction after Kamina died- sort of like, losing the most important in his life the first time almost broke him, and the second time he chose to walk away from everyone he cared about?), and I could definitely ship them in relationships with more than just each other (and do). But I agree that while Simon is WITH Nia it's not like he'd ignore her or cheat or kick her to the curb. That's very wtf if it exists in fandom (and knowing fandom I am almost sure it does ;;)

But yeah, agreeing that it's. Not the point of the show. ._.
