I kind of forsee Jowy and Riou being that cool Flik/Victor like duo... and while veteran players would know them even with different names as OMGTHEMGUYS... it'd be nice to have some suspense and like, insert them in Suikoden [insert number here] as normal happy Flik/Viktor type veterans then BAM during bigplot, they unleash the collective coolness of the uh... BS RUNES on baddies to save hero :)!

And then, the game screws you over as it makes you choose which to let live and gift with the Rune of the Beginning.... ho ho ho ho... unless you have 108 stars :D!

One can dream.

I also dream of Konami retroconning the BS rune no-immortality thing and making them two immoortal. But these are tiny fangirl gripes :D

Hahaha, yeah, and I think we'd all like to have them sweet runes playable again. Really, I want more playable Jowy. >:[ I also want a Suikoden that takes place post-III, or at the very least post II.

My feelings on rune-immortality are mixed, because I think the whole idea of it is kind of silly (though sometimes explored well in the game) but I always thought them not getting it was stupid.

I read about that subject. It's always the... coffee argument and stuff. But in a way though, wouldn't two immortals for one True Rune work better? Having Riou and Jowy both be under the Rune of the Beginning umbrella to make the right decisions and all would be ♥

I mean, it must've been made like that because imagine how kickass the Rune of the Beginning would be... but they kind of broke that omguberpower thing with the Rune of Punishment... which, after 108 stars of loooove, is a killing machine .___.;

Just. Immortality and no more life-sucking? Lazlo is a force to be reckoned with D:! While Jowy and Riou totally get the short end of the stick :/ *sniff* At least let them be eternally pretty. [/more shallow ranting]

And watching Code Geass with Suikoden II background makes me giggle so much. If you know Code Geass :D
