It's hard not to ship it, tbh. It's kind of skeevy in the sense that Baby is being forced to work for him so it'd be hard to believe they'd fuck of his own entire free will, but... hearing, "That's my baby..." in that tone of voice just... damn...

I mean you do you but I think It's very easy not to ship them when it's Kevin Spacey being an unappealing dick and Baby is much more shippable with Buddy or, if you're feeling old-fashioned, Debora.

I'm usually a slasher but I could not slash Buddy/Baby even when trying. Buddy and Darling were too good of a match for each other and he just loved her so much, man, how do you break that up

Oh I ship the hell out of Baby/Buddy and Baby/Buddy/Darling too. To be honest, almost every ship in that movie is fucked up, but awesome.
