I've thought of this too, but at least most of them work alone.

But then you have doujin circles who work together making explicit manga, so yeah, I wonder if there's awkwardness. I can't even show some explicit fics I've written to friends.

I guess you haven't discovered the new Buzzfeed Thirst Aid podcast where ladies talk about fanfic, invite fanfic, erotic poetry, and objectify men (actors) shamelessly. I fell in love with their episode of The Great British Bae Off. SO FUN but I can imagine some folks will have a lot of second hand embarrassment listening to laughing ladies discussing sexy time.
