that's nice and all but you can get ebooks without stealing other people's hard work. don't be an asshole, the least you can do for all this comfort and support you're getting from these books is support the people's whose efforts you're consuming.

Guilt tripping a depressed person is also a pretty asshole thing to do, but you don't seem to care about THAT, so why should they care about your idealistic "moral high ground" ?

It's not "idealistic" to expect people to adhere to basic standards of decency. What if the author they're ripping off also has depression? Whose needs come first then?
