I would say I thought it was actually a decent acting job, but then I don't think I've been around people who get mean-drunk in that way.

Everyone’s drunk in their own way tbh. I thought it was a nice manifestation of her bottled up trauma, which was kinda the theme of the season.

Yeah, people act all kinds of ways when they're drunk. The scene made me uncomfortable too, but in the way it was meant to I think.

I thought it was the most realistic drunken outburst I'd seen in a long time.
And yeah it made me uncomfortable but I think that was intentional.

I swear I have witnessed almost that exact drunken meltdown. I thought it was actually a very good example of that kind of drunk.

Yeah, when my friends and I were watching that scene, most of us were immediately like, "Oh, she's that kind of drunk."

(Ironically, the one person who was vocally upset at how unrealistic it was is also that kind of drunk, so...)

Fourthing(?) this. It felt extremely realistic to me. And it was definitely uncomfortable, but in a way that felt really specific and affecting. It would probably make it onto my Favorite Moments Of The Season list, come to think of it.

That was actually a good bit of acting, OP. I've never done an outburst like that, but the slurring and the swaying and how earnest she was? I've been exactly that way before.
