Stranger Things 2?

I watched the first season when it was released, and did enjoy it. How good is the 2nd season?

IMO season two felt a tiny bit more... organized? Season one had oodles of atmosphere but the plot wasn't as strong, IMO. Season two tries to tie up some of the loose ends and you see more of Will and the aftereffects of what happened to him. If you enjoyed season one, I don't see any reason not to watch season two.

Yes. Just know that the episode set out of Hawkins will be the worst one.

It's broader in scope, introduces some new characters, develops previous characters in enjoyable ways, and sets some things up for S3. Overall less spooky, with slightly more gory violence.

The ENTIRE season is definitely worth watching if you liked S1.

I enjoyed every bit of of it, including the 'out of Hawkins' ep. Definitely give it a go.

I'm baffled by the people who didn't. I loved it! Loved Kali, loved the whole thing (don't want to spoil anyone).

Kali's crew were a bunch of shallow, annoying stereotypes.

Yes. So different than the regular cast of young geeky outcasts as protagonists + Little Miss Firestarter 2.0.

It kind of seems like people who loves S1 immeasurably will most likely enjoy S2, but just not as much as S1. While the people who just liked S1 will probably like S2 as much of not more? IDK. I loves S1 immeasurably and imo S2 wasn't as good, but it was good enough that I wouldn't call it disappointing. I'd say it was a respectable second season, and definitely worth watching.
