Nah. As an actor, there are a bunch of people always on set doing their own jobs - which is exactly what that guy was doing, BTW, and getting paid a lot less than Bale was to do it. It sucks if it breaks your concentration, but I don't think it's okay for Bale to scream and threaten the man's job over it.

If I recall, the guy was in an area he should not have been in AND it was the second time he had done it that day.

I'm sorry, but I still don't think that's a good reason to scream at someone and try to get them fired. I'm disappointed there are so many people who think that's okay.

+1000

This smacks of Bale's privilege. There is no excuse for his behaviour. I don't care how many takes the lighting guy ruined.

+1 Me, too. I get that the guy working on the lights might be annoying, but the screaming was WAYYYY over the top. Is that just a transcript linked above? You probably need to hear the audio to get the full effect of the frothing, spitting rage that was going on, and it was out of line. Even Christian Bale agreed that it was out of line (once it hit the press, anyway). And threatening someone's job over it? Ugh. I'm glad he apologized, under duress or not.
