Spouse bought a bunch of shit from Petco, but I think that had more to do with getting a free $30 voucher than simply Black Friday.

I braved Wal-mart on thanksgiving and got just shit for myself- 2 serta pillows, a dvd of Django Unchained and a blu-ray of Kong: Skull Island, and a skullcandy bluetooth headset.

I also got a razor, one of those hairstraightening electric hairbrushes as a gift and some books off amazon but those weren't really black friday sales or anything.

I'm coveting a couple things at Pottery Barn that I'll get if a Cyber Monday code works on them. No way in hell am I paying full Pottery Barn price for anything.

Snagged a few lightning deals on Amazon for cheap gifts. Mermaid tail blanket for co-worker, marquee sign and letters for neighbour, a Fiesty Pet for my nephew, kitchen sieve for budding cook goddaughter, stuff like that. I still need to find a few more gifts for Christmas and am watching the deals on Amazon this week since I don't have any strong ideas or feelings about what to get, just that it isn't expensive and would be appreciated by the recipient.

I wish I could have, but I always have a short budget and right now I am waiting on part of a Xmas present that will inevitably be pricy because I am sending it to the other side of the world. That doesn't come cheap and as much as I wish I could go on a Redbubble spending spree to cover my suitcase in more stickers, I can't, because I need to save for postage.

My father and I went halfsies on a 55" smart TV. Then we carried it home on public transit. It was stressful, but ultimately it went really well.

I also bought some Gucci sunglasses. I might take them back. I haven't decided yet. I want them, but I mean, they're fucking acetate, just like all the other much cheaper pairs of sunglasses I could buy, which would look almost as good anyway. Urg. I'm such a brand whore.

Black Friday is actually Buy Nothing Day! :) But I bought the December issue of Oprah's magazine to lift my spirits. Oops.
