Not to mention the proofreaders, editors and typesetters (or equivalent) for ebooks! And the people who put them up on various sites for sale, and the people who design the covers...

Yes! I remember hearing from someone from a publishing house say in a convention panel that if an ebook looks good on your device, it's because a lot of effort went into making sure it would look good and be pleasantly readable on different devices.
