The only voice of hers I disliked was her voice for the one follower in the Charles Manson series. I can't remember her name like...Twiggy or Twisty.

That sounds right!

I JUST finished that series and this is the weird thing - she didn't do a voice at all for Squeaky (just didn't really quote her) but she DID do a real high-pitched, bitchy-toned voice for Susan "Sadie" Atkins. I know Sadie was the one who did most of the stabbing, and has most of the choice quotes about what happened because she was the one who couldn't keep it zipped and bragged about the murders to her cellmates in jail, so I get why she gave her this sort of psycho-brat voice, but it was weird juxtaposed from the way she sounded in most of the podcast.

I knew it was one of them. But I listened to it over a year ago.

I love both of them and their voices. Dan Carlin is/was in radio, I believe, so he's a bit more polished. Karina Longworth profiles a lot of people who had those outmoded mid-century/Mid-Atlantic accents a lot, so it might seem a little weird.

Yo, fellow Hardcore History fan! I've never heard the other one but I love Dan Carlin.

Some people's voices are just not fun to listen to, OP. You could have fun and try to use a voice changer, see if that helps. Would her voice be better if she sounded like Darth Vader?

Everyone would be better if they sounded like Darth Vader.
