What was it like?
bur: It's an octopus with a bat from Pirate Baby's Cabana Street Fight 2006. (Default)

It felt very small and cramped to me. It's nice? I mean, the marina's nice, the beaches are nice, the food's nice, and the locals are nice probably because they suspect you have money and might be parting with it, but... eeeeh. In the places we went around, hotels and condos took up enough of the real estate that you had to crane your head to see a decent amount of sky, and everything was very close and built on top of each other. I sure 'm sounding too picky, but I've been to other resort towns in Central America and elsewhere around the world and for some reason Peurto Vallarta just seemed kinda bleak compared to them.

Gotcha. I know nothing about Puerto Vallerta but the name frequently comes up when people talk about resort towns and beach vacations and I was curious.
