I don't know if that's true. Their butthurt is certainly couched in terms of various moral, ethical, and political agendas. I would argue that talking in that kind of cynical, amoral "no one actually cares about morality and people who claim to are only doing so to mask their butthurt" is itself a specific moral position that they adopt.

And even if it was true, I don't know if it would really be a justification.
