How is your Thursday? Doing or watching anything fun?



I'm in Houston for a spur of the moment job interview tomorrow (as in they called me this morning and wanted to talk to me in person tomorrow morning). Super long drive, but the hotel is nice. I got subway for dinner because the hotel is one of those places that has no prices on the menu. So I know way over my budget.

It was long. I had two job interviews. I think they went okay. I forgot to ask what the salary is for both but neither balked when I told them my previous salary so I expect it is more than $8.50 an hour. Hopefully I get a callback from one of them. :(

I had a job interview as well and I honestly thought it went really well. I talked to three people - I know I did really well with two of them, and I think I did a pretty decent job talking things through with the third as well (although I think that she probably is going to have the most say on the decision so I wish I'd done better with her, lol). But I'm pretty sure that I nailed the hypothetical challenges they set for me so I'm hopeful. Now it's just about waiting to hear back.

Also, their office is in a really nice location which shouldn't make a difference but it's still nice to imagine working there.

Good luck on the interview! I'm sure you'll do great. I haven't had Subway in years lol, I miss it.

I've been in bed most of the day with a really nasty pain in one side of my stomach. :/ Not debilitating but bad enough that I can't stand up straight and moving in any way hurts. Without getting TMI there's been some worrying stuff in the bathroom department too. My brother has ulcerative colitis so I'm a bit stressed.

Well, my budget for food was basically only fast food. And I didn't want fried stuff, so Subway was the option left.

My day was relatively standard just with a bonus video game activity with friends in the evening(the new WoW raid opened up so we went in to kill things).

nothing going on here. I'm trying to read a novel that was highly recommended to me and it has a pretty interesting plot but the characters are so boring I'm having a hard time caring about what happens to them.

I didn't get a break at work today and I'm super tired. My sisters want to drag me out to the neighboring city to see the Christmas lights, but I just wanna curl up in my bed and fall asleep listening to Pink Floyd.

I got lineart and lettering done on my tattoo. It's a fairly big piece so the coloring will have to wait till my artist's recommended three weeks. I understand why the wait, but aaah, I can't wait to see how it looks when it's done!
