If they'd been dating less than a year I'd understand your disapproval. But less than 2?

I agree. Whenever I hear about people getting married after less than a year, I kind of cringe internally, like, "It's your life and all but that seems like a bad idea."

But once they're over the year mark I try not to really form any opinions at all.

nayrt - Haha, that sounds kind of funny, though. Like 11.5 months and you're doomed, but 12.5 months and it's probably okay?

Sure it's arbitrary. Never claimed it wasn't. But if you're going to judge then absolutely any minimum-time cutoff point would be arbitrary, so I figure I'll just go with it.

In reality, I guess I'd say that between 12 months and 24 months is where I'm thinking, "That seems kind of fast to me, but not super crazy fast. Whatever." But again, all cut-off points are totally arbitrary anyway. *shrugs*
