Honestly Finn going ham on the troopers on Takodana has bothered me for a long time. I've kind of made peace with that in the sense that Finn knows he's a traitor and that he will be killed on sight. So he's in a kill or be killed situation. However if it was up to me, I would have not shot the Takodana battle the same way. I would have cut that shot of Finn stabbing that trooper which was pretty brutal lol. There are a few times where Finn is a bit inconsistent (he seems to me that he carries the idiot ball when he starts having scenes with Rey).

I do love the Poe comics! I have yet to catch up on the very latest one, but it's nice to see Poe grow from pilot to Commander through the hardships he and his squadron face.

I'm trying to tamp down on my expectations/hope but I usually give Finn a pass in TFA because so little time has passed and he's being thrown every which way and not given much time to think about what to do or what he has done. I'm really hoping that the next two movies will give us more (or they release a book that really digs into it, but I expect that won't come out while the movies are still holding information back).

The last Poe issue was great, and it looks like the next one will be even better.
