Me too, OP! I even put on music and wear floaty skirts. It's fun.

You do you, op. Dance, twirl, leap! Why not? :)

Hey, that sounds fun to me :D! No different than the people who like to pretend they're rock stars while singing and dancing around the house, I figure. We all deserve to have a little fantasy fun now and then :).

Isn't being a fake microphone what hairbrushes are for?

(Anonymous) 2017-12-04 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
But of course :D!

I pretended to be a ballerina until I was 36 (only stopped because I was in an accident that doesn't allow for any of that kind of movement anymore).

Carry on, OP!

I used to be way more into figure skating and did the exact same thing, including attempts at single axels, OP. ;D

I'm 30 as well, and I do this kind of stuff all the time. I won't claim I'm particularly good at being an adult, but my ability to take inordinate amounts of joy in things other people might find silly, geeky, or trivial is not something I'm embarrassed by.

Hang onto your spirit, is what I say. Hang onto that capacity for delighting in imagined things, even if it's sometimes goofy af.
