This season of Stranger Things has only been out a month and Billy/Steve is already the most popular Steve pairing. It is the 6th most popular pairing in the whole show.

It is not unrelated, but it's still distinct from it.

You can have villains who aren't dickheads and you can have heroes who are.

IMO Billy doesn't suck. He started out a dick but his abusive relationship with his father added layers to him. There's more going on than just out bully. Doesn't at all excuse his behaviour but does go way to explaining it. I'm looking forward to where they go with his character in season 3.
