(Anonymous) 2017-12-03 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)I don't always mind reading books that feature very one-note characters when the world-building aspects and the plot are interesting, which I find a lot in SF/Fantasy novels in particular. It's interesting to see those characters played by actors who can bring something more to the role. It happens the other way around too, that an actor would be very flat where the character wasn't. Again, it's just an opinion.
