Yes, it does. An attention span is how long one can remain interested in something. Artificially inflating the length of something increases the attention span required to follow it, because it requires the maintaining of their interest for a longer time.

Attention span =/= analytical brain or whatever the hell definition you're using.

I think I've earned the right to be an elitist. I had to suffer through years of being the only person without at least a 500 mile radius who had ever heard of Lupin III (this was back in 1999). So I get to make up for my lack of fanbase to share the shows I enjoy with (at least an English fanbase) by being a dick to weeaboos who watch crap.

Well, I don't watch the anime anymore, the two filler arcs killed it for me. I read the manga faithfully though. It's much better in my opinion. Not only is there Yoruichi, but Sado Yatsutora is half-mexican and a positive Latino character as well.
