105. Oh please, grow the fuck up. There's 'tards in every fandom. And if I judged an anime by the first episodes, I don't think I would love half the anime I do today. Some stuff needs time to grow on you.

118. Oh my God, I'm having flashbacks from when I was seven or eight and I was fixated with being a RL Pokemon trainer. Seriously, I imagined they were real. Thankfully my family *kind of* accepted it until the fixation went away.

122. Hmm, I completely understand you, totally, yet I always felt that fandom was a sanctuary where color, race, religion, etc. didn't really matter. I've actually met plenty of people of color (both men and women) who are into fandom, just in real life and not on the internet. Sorry. D:

138. I loved the game for its simplicity and pretty art. TP was way too serious for me. I always think OoT and MM will triumph over them both though because it had a perfect blend of the two.

Haha, I guess I could come off as that way, but honestly I don't worship them or anything. I know they're not real, that they're just these fictional characters that exist on paper and a television screen. They're the product of the mind of some weird mangaka, nothing more or less. I just ended up getting really attached to them, their personalities and such. As I said, I'm very embarassed to say that I ended up getting into some huge emotional conflict over two fictional pirates. But that happens, right? We cheer/cry/get angry over people or situations in books, TV, movies, etc. Some of us just end up getting more "involved" with those things than you normally would. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people in this case. :(

I understand what you mean, and I know I came off as rude in that comment (my IRL friend is annoying as fuck, I don't associate well with her). I've felt the same way too about characters and situations. It's just that when people have gotten too involved in things like that, I've lost friends because of it.
I'm saying all the wrong things to people. @_@

Sorry, I'm way past that period in my life where I had time and patience to watch shows in hopes that they may get more interesting. I've been watching anime for a long enough time to know what I like and what I don't. There's a shitload of anime out there, and if there's nothing at all that interests me in the first episode of a show then I just go on to find something that does interest me, instead of sticking with it to see if the show does turn out to be halfway decent after all. (FYI, I sometimes read episode reviews. Nothing that I read appealed to me. So.)

And yeah, there are tards everywhere, it just seems that in this case the sane:tard ratio is less balanced than usual.

I agree that a lot of TTGL's fans think it's the second coming of anime, but it'll wear off. The tards flock to the Anime of the Now and abandon it when the hype's done. (Well, I'm still not so sure about Naruto, but I know Bleach lost most of the tards when the SS arc was done)

And I guess I can't really identify with you on the whole 'interesting/not interesting' thing with anime, because I mostly end up loving every anime I watch. I like some things more than others, but there's really nothing that I can say I hate. :\
