I remember we once sung 'O Tannebaum' in German - badly - but so pretty! And 'Lord of the Dance' is gorgeous, yes.

I'll have to look up the non-traditional ones, they aren't familiar to me. :)

I was always confused by O Tannenbaum because the lyrics go "wie grün sind deine Blätter" - translated as "How are thy leaves so verdant". And I always thought "but but but Christmas trees don't have leaves!".

Some people put in a different words that translate to 'green branches'. But either way, evergreens do have leaves, they're just 'needle like' - but still leaves. Weird but true. :)
