He is just not an attractive guy. And i disliked his character so much in TWD, I am just not interested in watching him in anything else.

I hated his character in TWD too. I feel triggered just looking at his face lol (jk. Kind of not.)

I thought he did a really good job acting in TWD, but I hated his character SO FUCKING MUCH and I find him really unpleasant looking which just made it worse. He was almost worse than Lori, except once he died they didn't try to turn him into some sort of perfect saint and constantly have him popping back up in heavenly flashbacks.

I'm hoping that The Punisher let's me associate him with a different role, and maybe I'll start liking him better.

OMG, this. Lori and Shane were two of the *worst* characters on that show, and I was so sick of both of them at their 'ends' I could only cheer.

Well - good luck! I'm not even all that interested in trying (plus, The Punisher isn't an interesting character to me at all, never has been).

I don't have any interest in the Punisher. I just want to stop feeling an irrational stab of hate and revulsion every time I see the poor actor's face haha

He does look better with facial hair. (Not a fan of his but I noticed all the way back when he was in The Class (TV show from 2006-07) that he is odd-looking.

Oh this guy. He has one of the longest heads I've ever seen so that beard almost balances out his face.

Honestly I hated Shane on TWD and I loved him as the Punisher in Daredevil, but on his own show, The Punisher, he's so different and terrible, I think I'm back to hating him again. I've come full circle. It might also be that in some of his interviews and cut scenes he uses a lot of language where he calls other actors 'pussies' or 'cock-suckers' like it's second nature to be derogatory like that. It may not be part of his character but it sure sounds like it's part of who he is, is what I'm saying. His biggest hero is Howard Stern which says a lot, so his interview on that skeeved me out, I was sorry I listened to it.
