I'm not in the fandom. I don't even like Spiderman. And yet I still ship Peter/Mary Jane. I'll never get the glorification of Gwen Stacy. From what I've read and know, MJ is far superior. And plus, MJ and Peter had the longest lasting relationship.

I agree on MJ being superior. There’s been so much characterization for her character over the years. People who prefer Gwen Stacy over MJ because of her very recent charaterization as the “book-smart nerd” (never mind the fact that she’s been more of a Liz Allan-expy) don’t know shit.
