Jennifer Connelly would've been really good. I love Winona, but I see her more as Galadriel or Eowyn (wigged obvi) than Arwen. There's a sort of "soft power" to Arwen in comparison to others, and I feel like Winona's has too much of an assertive stage (or film in this case) presence that makes it hard for me to see her in such an ethereal role.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure I see Winona's coloring as very Arwen or Luthien, though I do like her as an actress. Sure, they could dye her hair darker, but I still can't see it. Jennifer, though, I like that idea.
