I feel like I should also include the fact that it isn't just the control and sadism aspects of his personality I admired (that seems like a poor word choice but oh well) it's also the fact that he had a family. A happy, well adjusted family, who he kept divorced from his violent desires. And I didn't like any of the scenes or storyline that had to do with the young babysitter.

This is sort of weird (and I'm only on the first couple episodes) but I'm kind of jealous of how unsnoopy his wife and kids are. He keeps so much damning evidence and doesn't really hide it and so far his family hasn't found anything. Gods.

Lol, I would agree, he had such a large amount of personal freedom didn't he? I was shocked at how much he got away with.
