I liked it well enough. More than Jo's Boys at least. A lot of her children's stories are preachy and moral. I love them all anyway.

My favorite book of hers is actually Rose in Bloom, the sequel to Eight Cousins.

Have you read her short stories? They're great and far less preachy than the books.
