145 - That's an excellent explanation of slash fans. Thank you.

146 - It actually does have a fandom, just a small one that's more orientated towards discussion than fic. See the_swoop, tammy_drabbles, tpierce_lolcats, tortall, and piercefic. Also Sheroes Central (http://www.sheroescentral.com/dc/dcboard.php) has a Tamora Pierce section. And The Dancing Dove (http://thedancingdove.yuku.com/), but that's mostly dead (there's still some good fic archived there though). (I especially love Kel's quartet as well!)

151 - I know right? I see this in the Dexter fandom as well. Except I like Dexter better than Light.

The author is one of the maintainers. It was inspired by some lolcats posted in her journal. (I love my fandom's author.)

Holy snap TP lolcats I nearly DIED.

Back in the day (and when I say the day, I mean like over six years ago :/) the fandom was really active at the Pit. I may or may not have dozens of old badfics still archived there. I dunno if it still is, though. I really stopped reading TP fics when Sulia Serafine left the fandom.

TP lolcats is the best thing ever.

I generally avoid ff.net unless recced specific fics or authors there. (There's still plenty of Tamora Pierce there.)

Why do other fandoms not to this, seriously, it's awesome.

I hear that a lot. :/ You have to wade through crap to get to the gems, but I've always considered it worth it. I can see not wanting to subject yourself to the horror. (Though on a scale of fandom badfics, I find TP badfics to be not eye-gougingly awful. There are more terrifying fandoms.)

Point Pleasant disappointed me SO MUCH. I went into it going "oh devil's daughter, THIS COULD BE EPIC 8D" and it could have been, except it like... immediately turned into a soap opera. I couldn't make myself be interested in most of it- they kept in elements of the she's-the-Devil's-daughter! plot but mixed it up with way too much unnecessary teen dramu. asukfhasjfa sorry to jump in like this but I was really epically disappointed because I thought it sounded really cool, and then... that. =[
