Aside from not even wanting to know what your icon is about...

I remember the old Team Rocket Headquarters board and how frequently off the topic of fandom it would get. Posts about religion, suicide and politics... it got weird, it really did. SRS BIZNIZ.

But it was a long time ago. I'm hoping the OP, and everyone, realizes that cunty people can and do change (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomsecrets/172997.html?thread=64720837#t64720837) Everyone I know from TRHQ says they were stupid back then.

I... think I remember staring at it but rotf I was too intimidated to post. And yeah, it was all very srs business, especially the Team Rocket fans, who generally considered themselves better than 'the twerps' rotf. Looking back on it, I cringe. |D

My fiance' and I once met the original creator/owner of the first TRHQ at an anime convention once - and he really acted like he wanted nothing to do with us, nor with the other onetime TRHQ members we met there.

And everyone else I still talk to who used to be a Team Rocket Headquarters member says "I was stupid then."

I'm wishing people didn't even remember me from back then. I'm a different person now.

I'm also scared to death for admitting "how I used to be back then" -- I keep looking at that secret and the post style on the board screenshot is a lot like mine and, 8-9-10 years ago, that *was* my way of thinking. (I was a Baptist Fire-n-Brimstone brainwashed and a complete twat). I came out about thinking I was quite possibly/probably the asshole that spurred the secret simply because I want to say that I'm sorry.

And I only did it because I don't think I have a lot of respect in general fandom, anyway. There are a few people in my current fandom who like my gen writing and art, but it's not a big fandom anymore, either, and none of them that I know lurk around here, and I get the feeling that a lot of the people who hang here either don't know me or don't like me, so what "respect" do I have to lose?

Still, I'm scared to death of losing what little tiny scrap I may have by admitting that "I used to be a raging homophobic cunt back when I was 18"
