Not OP but I completely understand OP's feelings. Some of us grew up working with our parents to make ends meet while everyone else thought our parents were too stingy to take us to the movies or pay two bucks for lunch on the school's Pizza Days. We were lucky enough to have a TV handed down to us. OP might not even have had that.
