LOL, I know. Sure, just invite this gigantic thug into your house, with your kids...

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
You sound like a wonderful human being.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Uh, what's so bad about NOT inviting some random stranger into your house? Seems like the sensible thing to do.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
What's so bad about being nice to people? Not everyone is a serial killer trying to kill you.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
You must be trolling. I have a hard time believing someone genuinely believes that inviting random dudes into your house is good because it's "nice".

RIGHT????!!!!

Nice misogyny.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
It's misogynistic to think that a fictional character is stupid?

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yes when you are calling that woman stupid for no reason and saying she would have been murdered in the 70s.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Why do you think OP doesn't have a reason for calling this character stupid?

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Because I watched the show and that poor woman never did anything to deserve being called dumb and stupid.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps OP has a different interpretation of the show.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Er... she let a very large man she did not know into her expensive-looking house. Then she let that seemingly nice man (with a habit of disappearing and reappearing looking rather worse for wear) ingratiate himself into her life and the lives of her extremely vulnerable children. That's not a smart move in the real world.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
So basically she's sooo stupid for being nice to a stranger she hit with her car and bonding with him, a very nice guy who understands what she's going through because he also lost his partner like she did? Dumb women, so caring and empathetic and having ugh feelings.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
DA

It has nothing to do with "dumb women" having feelings and more to do with the fact that she is a character created by human beings who often write characters as making unlikely decisions in order to further the plot. Clearly some of the viewers found this character's behavior overly unrealistic.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-09 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
WHAT? She let a complete stranger into her house multiple times with her kids around. She also didn't think it was weird he was CONSTANTLY around. Like, she is a serial killer's wet dream.

(Anonymous) 2017-12-11 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
The show doesn't handle women well at all. Karen is an idiot in the show, too. Frank has done a bunch of terrible shit to her on DD in one season, she was terrified of him enough to point a gun at him, he crashes his car into hers and doesn't care if she's hurt (she is), and then she's going to be dumb enough to help him again in Punisher when he asks for her help, even though she knows he might straight up kill people, because he IS a serial killer. Sarah was worse imo because she had kids, but the writers treat the women in the show like they're so lonely they just don't care about the quality of men they allow into their lives. It's crazy.
