I deleted my old art and fics because I drew/wrote them when I was younger and they are straight-up embarrassing and cringeworthy to me now.

I know this secret is about people who delete stuff due to drama and not the reason I mentioned, but I can respect people deleting stuff for any reason. If the reason is because they don't want to be associated with a fandom/community anymore due to drama, that seems like a perfectly legitimate reason to me.

There's stuff from 2001 up on my FFN account, because people liked it then and some of it still gets the occasional fave or comment.

I'll let my more recent stuff speak for the fact that I've grown as a writer and yes, yes I know that my teenage stuff is crap.
