I hope you feel better soon! My sister has done keto. It helps if you get those strips to pee on to make sure you are hitting ketosis (I think that is what it is called?).

Thank you~ I'm thoroughly medicated and will likely be crashing out soon, so here's hoping I can sleep off the worst of it tonight.

:) Yes, that's what it's called. I'll have to look into buying those! I've already started switching my groceries over by buying fewer carbs but I've got a lot of social stuff in the next few weeks, so I'm waiting until after the holidays to really do anything with the diet. I don't want to add juggling a totally new diet with the holidays.

Did it work for your sister?

It worked for her but she could not keep at it because of how strict the diet is. I think it is probably best for when you need to lose weight really quickly for like...an event. UNLESS you are okay with eating the same diet over and over. If so, it should be easy as hell to maintain.

XD honestly that's one of the things that appeals to me. i hate having to figure out variations on foods. I can eat the same three things for life, so I'm hoping this is awesome for me.
