Ooooh! The one where the kids' dad dies and is reincarnated as a dog and then the dog dies and it's horribly sad, and then at the end he's reincarnated again as a squirrel. My brother and I both cried our eyes out at that movie and my mom was basically horrified because she had no idea it'd be like that.

Fluke is the name of the movie.

The guy that turned into a dog became friends with another dog that used to be a guy. The dog-friend died and was reincarnated as a squirrel.

That movie messed me up big time. My dad had passed away in May of 1995 (the movie came out in June 1995). After watching the movie, I kept wanting to adopt every animal I saw, thinking that dad had been reincarnated.
